A solo CDL driver does not run a personal random pool. The pool has to be run by a third party.

Can I hire you for the pool and nothing else?
Yes. The consortium stands on its own. You don't have to add IFTA or plates to be in the pool.
Do you file IFTA only through Tennessee's portal?
No. We file the quarterly return from the miles and fuel receipts for the jurisdictions you ran. Tennessee carriers file through TNTAP. That portal is explained on the Tennessee page linked above. Your base state is the one on your IFTA license, not ours.
How fast does a lapsed MCS-150 become a problem?
Once the biennial update is overdue, FMCSA can deactivate the USDOT number. You're then operating without an active registration. We file the update before that, and again when an operating fact changes.
What do you need from me for a plate renewal?
The renewal calendar is only as good as the mileage records and the Schedule 1. IRP wants the distance schedule. The state wants the stamped Form 2290 Schedule 1 on trucks at 55,000 pounds and up. We ask for those before the window, not the night the plate expires.
Where are the long Form 2290 answers?
On the Form 2290 service page linked above. Due date, weight tax, suspended vehicles, VIN corrections, credits, and late filing are answered there. This page only tells you the service exists.
